Life Drawings

I mainly study the human figure in my life drawings and I love to experiment with different materials!

Character Art

Eli the EelI had worked on most of the development for Eli, however, Harriet Gilpin had worked on the initial concepts for this character.

Geoff the Giant SquidI had just worked on the clean up for this character - rigging model & sitting pose reference.
The original design was created by Maya Lamicchane.

Animation

Worked on the lip syncing for Cindy the Cyclops in this scene of the first "episode".

Visual Development

Eli the EelBased the shape language and colour palette from Harriet's original concept work.
Eventually, I worked on contrast, colour, and texture. My art director, Codi Monroe, decided that we should make Eli green as we hadn't had any characters with that specific colour palette.

Geoff the Giant Squid - ExpressionsI had to work on base references so that the rigging and animation team could give Geoff expressions in his own "episode".

Keith the Kraken - Initial ConceptsThe first character concept I worked on within this project. This was when we were still finding the style for this project and I had mainly worked on shapes and colour ideas.
The final design was persued by Chloe Wolhuter.

Illustrations

I tend to delve into stylised realism and my own personal "cartoony" art style.
I enjoy drawing my own and others' original characters as well as myself and characters from existing medias.
I would like to spend more time on my own personal work outside of university. I am thinking of opening commissions in the future to motivate me in this task!

Film

Film is another passion of mine that I would love to further pursue in my future. I fell in love with it in high school which eventually also blossomed my love for animation as well!I LOVE working on music videos - it's a great love of mine. Music and film are two things that are extremely dear to me and putting those together is just pure perfection! If I ever end up in a band, I would LOVE to take full control on the way our music videos turn out :).
